Enjoy nature at its finest and visit one of our unrivaled attractions, Bellingrath Gardens and Homes. Blooming year round, these gardens are a part of our city everyone must see and the home and collections within are world-renowned. Recapture the true spirit of Southern history on the veranda of an antebellum home like Oakleigh Historic Complex or several other notable historic homes throughout the downtown area. And the Carnival Museum is not to be missed – Mobile is the home of the original Mardi Gras and the Carnival Museum takes you through generations of traditions, celebrations and lore.

Want to spend some time outdoors? If you're a golfer, choose from a number of great courses, including Magnolia Grove, home of the Avnet LPGA Golf Classic and part of the internationally recognized Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. The 5 Rivers Resource Center, just minutes from downtown, is the gateway to over 250,000 acres of bays, marshes and rivers. Airboat rides, pontoon boat cruises, kayaks and canoes are available to let you explore America's second largest wetland at any speed. And the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Mexico are just an hour's drive away - a perfect day trip to complement your visit.
